Wow, what an amazing difference. The quick start has you going almost immediately, and the load times for a Blu-ray disc are a fraction of what they were with the old player. Picture/sound and menu navigation are great exactly what you d expect from Sony. Because this player is networked, updating the firmware is quick and simple. I tried Netflix, and the video is AWESOME compared to my ROKU player Also a great buy!. I was also pleasantly surprised that it came with a sneak preview of Cloudy with a Chance of MEatballs. The movie played beautifully, surround sound and everything. The BLU Ray disc was awesome too. ABOUT MY SETUP: I plugged in the hdmi to my Mitsubishi HDTV. For sound, I connected the bourne identity 2002 part 2 optical to my Amp. I have an older model amp which does not have an HDMI. For the internet access, I plugged in the Ethernet via cable to a netgear router which is connected my PC. Simple!. Word OF CAUTION: If you want to connect to the internet wirelessly, you will need to buy a specific Wireless Bridge. I think the BDP 560 comes with a built in wireless card. Got this box since it has the direct internet connection and Netflix, and is a good buy for the price.
