Halloween 2007 part 1

I have a feelign if thay all have an identical crack that the mail sorting machines halloween 2007 part 1 to blame. I do not see how better packaging could prevent the cracks from the torsion on the disks as they are processed by the USPS. I think the issues is just that BDs are too thin. Same problem here. Its gotten so bad that I turned off the blu-ray option in netflix and went back to standard definition disks! Of all the bluray disks Ive received I estimate 70% have been bad. Probably 20 bad disks since I got the player. How irritating! Not only do my blu rays dont play halloween 2007 part 1 others have been showing up completely broken in two. Anybody know of a way to get around this through another company? Thanks for posting this. My husband and I bought a blu ray player in January and have had the same problem with Netflix. The disk will start to play and then after a very short time we never get to the actual movie will shut down. Netflix tells us that we need to update the firmware. We never have problems playing blu ray disks we buy. I have had this problem 4 times since I changed from regular DVD to Blu Ray. The latest was I was real upset because it seemed to be a great movie until frame 15, had 21 frames. Netflix needs to get this problem taken care of promptly or I guarantee they will loose a customer. I will rent from Red Box instead. Its ok to increase your membership 00, what for either the DVD is cracked or I have a 2 month waiting list. I own probably 100 blu-ray discs and have never seen a crack like you guys are talking about. This is definitely a Netflix and too bad because I want to join them to get blu-ray Netflix could easily fix this problem with an envelope change. If you look at your envelope closely, on the edge where the disc sits, about halfway up, you can see a shiney mark where the postal sorter grabs the envelope. If the disc is right against the edge of the envelope, theres a good chance it will be cracked. If the halloween 2007 part 1 sits towards the middle, it will be ok. I checked this against about 20 rentals, and got pretty good at telling of the disc would be cracked before taking it out of the sleeve. When they started charging for BR, I went to BlockBuster. Their envelopes are no sturdier, but the disc sits directly in the middle, not near the edges. Not a single cracked disc from BlockBuster so far. I actually like Netflix better, but I dislike mailing every movie back 3-4 times before I get one thats not broken.
